Happy Friday

I know it is not Friday yet but just knowing it will be here in 2 days makes me happy. I am thankful to be off most Fridays and able to spend time with my boys. With ball games, practice, work and anything else that we do I sometimes forget to stop and take time to enjoy the ones I have been blessed to have in my life. I hate to rush the week but I know I want the weekend here and when it is it flys by. I will start to stop and smell the roses. Sneezing from all the pollen. Lol

Whether the weather is good or whether the weather is not

Oh my, the weather gave us a scare again this morning. But The Lord protected us. I am usually up at 6:00 to get ready but the call came from the superintendent at 5:45 stating schools will be delayed 3 hours. I am somewhat happy, now I can focus on the news and not rush. I get our youngest Ty and go lay down with our oldest Kobe. When he realizes we are there he jumps in surprise and says "Hi". Then he asked "Do I have school today?" I just laugh and say "Well, in 3 hours." You would have thought I gave him a new x-box game he was so excited. He eats breakfast, cinnamon sugar toast, not just regular toast which my husband found out last night was a no no, and plays x-box until time to leave. Ahh to be young again and only have to worry about do I have school. I just laugh!

Tidbit: Remember to enjoy your youth it goes by so fast.

Monday Monday

Ahhh Monday. Even though my bed was warm and I was finally asleep my alarm goes off promptly at 6am and I poke out of bed. My two boys are still asleep and the house is quiet. I am wishing I could go back to bed but hurry hurry. I get my oldest up usually having to slide his pants on him while he is still half asleep and he meanders into the living room bumping into me and the wall. Then my youngest wakes up happy and usually singing to himself. He is almost 1 so imagine the babble music coming from his room. I love to see their happy faces even if they are calf asleep. It makes me want to get going. I sometimes forget the important things then I look at them and remember. I am happy and blessed.

Happy b-day

So funny today! Today was the first day of Upward basketball. I laugh so much. If you need a pick me up please come to any kids game and you will feel better. No dribble no problem. And dancing is a must. The adults are just as funny. It is like coaching a herd of cats on too much cat nip. I am thankful that we are able to enjoy this with our family.

Remember to laugh today even if it is at yourself.

Here we go

Well here I go. This is my first time blogging...hahahaha sounds like clogging, which I do not do but I hope that I can be good at this. With all the sad and tragic happenings going on today I just wanted to create a blog about HAPPY happenings going on. Weather it is a kitty cat saved from a tree or a woman turning 100 I just want happiness shared with in this blog. I am excited to hear about anything that any of you might have going on that could bring a smile to our faces. For example: I was reading the Cullman Times online and I saw where a couple is celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary. That is so great! Speaking of Anniversaries my parents will be celebrating their anniversary on the 24 of January. YAY!!!
And to top it off with a Cherry on top my co-workers grandson accepted Jesus as his Savior!!! PRAISE the LORD!
Hopefully every day I can write about something happy and share blessings as my co-worker said.
